v77 - 2025-06-11

This release is intended to improve the compatibility with AIM, in order to get a perfect compatibility with recent versions of Windows.
No change for ImDisk that is still supported.

The AIM driver, which is now provided in place of ImDisk, requires to be installed. The full package provides a batch file to quickly install this driver.
Alternatively, you can install AIM Toolkit.

Some volumes created with ImDisk can be mounted with AIM, but some others may fail. It depends on the ability of Windows to mount volumes as "superfloppies". Unfortunately, this point is undocumented and there is no clean way to force Windows to consider a volume as a superfloppy.

As hardware has evolved since the creation of ProxyCrypt 12 years ago, the default scrypt parameters have been strengthened. To open a volume created by the version 2 of ProxyCrypt, you now must add "-sc 16,16".
You can also convert the volume header to the new default scrypt parameters with "-sc 16,16 -scn 128,4".
With the new parameters, ProxyCrypt now uses temporarily about 1GB of RAM for password checking, and about 2X more CPU.
