I just upgraded from a really old version of Hibernate and now I'm getting all these warnings: WARN pool1: #0017 was active for 67218 milliseconds and has been removed automaticaly. The Thread responsible was named 'http-bio-8080-exec-9'. Even one person using the application very quickly can burn through 40 connections before they are collected. This worked just fine before the upgrade. Unfortunately, Hibernate 4.2.6 ships with proxool 0.8.3, so I had to downgrade from proxool 0.9.1 in order to use it.
