Hi Abhishek,

You're quite right, our decision not to use the JDK Proxy is because we
wanted to support JDK 1.2. We haven't reviewed that decision for a few
years, but since it works well the Cglib I don't see much motivation to
change. You could make a case for deprecating JDK 1.2 but it might not be
worth it when there are other fish to fry.
