[Proxool-user] Proxool Logging DOES NOT WORK ANY MORE!!!!

I use Proxool and have done since about 2002. I was one of the first to
use it.

In fact I am mentioned in the credits on the Proxool site. I found a
memory leak, no mean feat in Java...

I have just upgradedmy sites to Tomcat 6, Java 6 and the latest version
of Proxool 0.9.1.

Logging used to work but it no longer does.

I have spent the last two days (+) trying to get it working to no avail.

I use Log4J and there must be some way to get it working with
commons-logging.

The documentation on the Proxool site is at best ambiguous and at worst
just incomplete or wrong.

I have contacted Bill Horsman but he's busy and has lost touch with
Java, so the help I got there was non-existant.

It appears that there is no longer any sort of support. Great.

Is there any one out there that has got the logging working on Proxool
0.9.1.

I'm pretty annoyed about this.

When you create software and encourage people to use it you have a
RESPONSIBILITY to them.

It's very unprofessional to leave them up sh1t creek when it suites you.
God knows how many people are affected by this.
