mmm yeah? (last download v 2,5 oct 2005)
i confess i haven't tried it (or maybe i briefly tried more than 3 years ago?)
but while proxo is fantastic, its core is "untouchable".
and proxo has some aggravating rough edges.
I'd like to write more filters (faster), and the worst aspect is not knowing what's going on. after some time one develops strategies, methods, but ...
some kind of step or watch feature would be nice.

Few years ago, I discovered Proxomitron, and learned that it IS possible to govern the kid's internet experience, without being terribly intrusive.
Shame that Scott passed on. Great that someone seems to be carrying on, and porting the work to *nix, etc. I've grown out of Windows, lol.
If the project is still active, I'd be willing to test. Can't code, have only the vaguest idea how things work on a *nix project - but I've done some beta testing in the past, as nothing more than an "end user".
I plan on giving your current version a workout within the next week of so - Cheers, everyone!!

Its dead - forget it and change to something different like privoxy.
Wish it was still alive.
Just a Proxomitron old-timer checking in....
