Designing provenance awareness for composite service systems, defined as the ability of a system to answer questions about the history of its processing, implies modelling and analyzing requirements for provenance infrastructure. Formally specifying provenance infrastructure ensures the system's accountability through recording the respective provenance data. In this project we analyze whether the designed infrastructure leads to actual recording/storage of the corresponding provenance data, by proposing an ECA algorithm that simulates the system's execution and generates provenance data graphs at the appropriate places.
