Creating a new File

To create a new File:

• Enter the filename
• Select the file structure (e.g. Delimited, Single-Message, Text etc)
• Enter the Proto definition file (needs protoc program to be on the path) or Protobuf definition in protocol buffer message format via the protoc program.
• Make sure Proto File and Primary Message fields are correct.

Then hit the Edit Button

For a new File the first screen displayed is a empty record screen, fill in the details

press the New Record button highlighted by red box. If there are more than one message types possible, you will get to choose the message type:

Thenenter the second record:

Finally on the mainscreen the 2 new records should be visible:
