File validation DLL

The file validation DLL is completly modular and can be used in every application.
Because this DLL is part of Proteus, the source code will be also published soon.
If you want to use this DLL in your application, just download it and look into our documentation section for the White Papers. Of course there aren't any stupid windows or anything. Just the return code if the file is valid or not.

File validation implemented

As you know everybody will be able to create new DLL Components for Proteus. To prevent the system from installing dangerous DLLs, we invented and implemented the file validation system.
It's a small DLL with two functions : Initialize() and ValidateFile(), of course with parameters. It supports Firewalls and Proxy server.
The concept is very easy: the DLL calculates the MD5 Hash and compares this Hash with a online database in which all future, VALID, components will be registered in.
