#9 QC check for gene products with ND and Experimental Annotation?

Hi,

Not sure if this exists already, but if not, would it be possible to implement a QC check for gene products that have both an ND and an experimental annotation for a given ontology?

It would be nice to get an email alert for any of these that we've made so that we can review and remove the ND annotation when there is now an experimental annotation.

Hi Kimberly,

This check already exists. It's run on the 15th of every month, and if any such cases are found, an email is sent to the nominated contact address for the group that supplied the ND annotation. If you haven't seen such an email (the subject line would be "[UniProt-GOA] Report on annotations with ND (ECO:0000307) evidence code by WB"), then you're in the clear...
