#49 Integrate a news blog into the home page

Integrate a news blog into the home page, to give regular updates on the state of the project. This should be a fully-featured blog, ideally one that integrates well into the site with Spring. It must support RSS feeds, and should display only one or two items on the home page, with a link to go to the full blog display with a pageable list of all blog entries.
