I had no time to commit to it, and the remaining two active developers migrated to the ground up rewrite project:

SVN is back online, no URL changes

eggy has taken the SVN server down as of Dec 2nd, 2005 20:00 UTC.

Backups were made the night before, he and I both have copies for safety.

His host is undergoing an OS change, and when complete, SVN access will be restored.
