and trust me, it isn't that hard to build apache yourself, or OpenSSL.
(on my FreeBSD box both install without one bit of need to tweak anything)

If it seems like to much of a problem to handle, just ask arround, there's
bound to be someone (like me) who doesn't mind helping you out, and guide
you through it on  a step to step basis.

wich brings me to another question:
ZeroDiVide: is there a manual to build some kind of "superapache" in
combination with Prometheus and is there a need for such manual?
if Yes, I wouldn't mind working on the manual, and I think I can get a
buddy of mine to work out any FreeBSD - Linux diffs.
