#56 GUI image pre-loading

When the user attempts to view an album (for most
intents and purposes), they are first shown a set of
small thumbnails. It would probably improve
performance if the larger images (e.g. full size) for
the album being viewed are pre-loaded in the background
via javascript, or analoguous technologies.
