Hello everyone (anyone?),
I'm new to ProM, have a problem that I think it can probably handle, but if documentation exists for it I can't find it.
I have a set of application log files. I can reformat them to MXML OK, and they load cleanly into ProM. I can then extract out the various workflows. No problem to this point.
What I want to be able to do now is extract the quantity of each workflow identified in the logs. For example, a simple workflow may be "User logs in" -> "User logs out"; I want to know how many times that specific workflow occurs in my log file.
My reason for doing this is that I want to be able to extract the mix and quantity of business transactions being performed, so that I can create a performance test that will mimic what is really happening in production.
As I said, I'd be surprised if it wasn't possible to extract "workflow quantity" information within ProM - surely this isn't an unusual use case. I just can't find any documentation pointing me in the right direction.
Any help that could be offered would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
