projinfo is designed to retrieve project's informations from web databases (currently freshmeat, sourceforge). It can be used to monitor project status (current release, subscriptions ...)

in release 0.2, the data aquisition from sourceforge is improved.

this is the first public release.

The fresmeat tool was easy to write, because freshmeat provide a very useful web page in xml format.

the sourceforge tool is still in alpha stage.
