On several windows XP systems the performance of the application is very slow.
During a backward planning test I discovered that the gannt canvas time starts at 1912.
Maybe this is a reason for the very slow performance?
In that case it could be an option to use (configurable) time offsets
- before (calculated) project start
- after (calculated) project end
using a default of e.g. 6 month?
1.5.5 is also slow
