Projectile will offer a viable open source alternative to closed source project management applications. Projectile will provide an open environment where teams can communicate, plan and schedule a project in simple defined terms.
Now here are my goals (some technical and some nontechnical) --
1. Provide centralized PM server
2. Provide both cross-platform GUI front end, web inteface and also handheld access
3. Databse independent
4. XML based
5. PM industry supported
Most of my goals are technical in nature. Please lend your own vision and goals. Lets spend a week on this and discuss the other parts of the development process.
