Auto Project Planner / News: Recent posts

Some smaller bugs of previous beta version are fixed. Improvements are made to the GUI and the graphical output of the calculation results.

This is the second release of Auto Project Planner 2. It's still a beta version, but feature complete from the calculation point of view. Predecessors, Finish with Task, Max%/Task, Max%/Worker, Productivity and Training Time could be set and is considered in calculation. There is still something to do in Error Handling before I make a first official release.

This is the first release of Auto Project Planner 2 - the next generation of the software. It's a beta version, not feature complete and it does not provide any error handling. So please be carful using it (save often ;-)) and if possible provide feedback to me.

Bugs in User Interface have been fixed
*) Validation of Predecessors
*) Acceptation of values in Skilled Workers Productivity and Training Time fields

Version 1.1 provides a hierarchical tree view which should give a clearer picture of your projects and tasks.
Examples have been adapted to that tree view.
When exiting, opening or creating a project the software asks to save if changes were made.
Bugs of version 1.0 have been fixed.

Windows MSI installer for a simplified installation is available.

Project web site has been moved to kitesoft.net. The web appereance has been reworked and first UML design diagrams have been added under http://www.kitesoft.net/design.html. This should help developers for a better understanding.

New Features in v0.9.2:
-Version 0.9.2 provides a menubar and a toolbar with icon buttons. The improvements in the GUI should make the work with APP even easier. Some minor bugs have been fixed.
