No

I want to use annotations (from the file exaples/annotations/lib/annotations.jar) to configure proguard.

My source file:
package test;
import proguard.annotation.Keep;
@Keep
public class MyClass {
}

In the following, I use two different configurations and show the resulting maps.

First configuration:
-keep @proguard.annotation.Keep class *

The resulting map:
dev.MyClass -> b.a:

Second configuration:
-keep class dev.MyClass

The resulting map:
dev.MyClass -> dev.MyClass:

I would expect, that both configurations act identically. I've tested with version 4.6 and 4.8. Is this a bug?

    It works for me. You probably haven't specified -libraryjars annotations.jar. Cfr. the example in examples/annotations.
