gserv Command line and menus

Usage

gserv [-d] [-p n] [-h hostname]

Options

-d   Start with debug log visible (default: not visible)

-p   Set port to n (default 30004)

-h   Connect to hostname (default localhost). Changing this is unusual.

Menus

File>Save Picture... and Edit>Copy Image to Clipboard both give you a snapshot of the current image in PNG format.

Help>Show/Hide debug log are used to toggle visibility of a list of commands received. Note that logging is only enabled when this box is visible (floating or docked), as it seriously slows screen drawing.

File>Save Log... lets you write the debug log to a text file.
