Hello, proftpd developers. IPv6 support is on the roadmap for this release cycle; given that such support requires changes to a substantial portion of the core code, the potential for bugs is very high. In order to make sure that proftpd remains stable after committing changes for IPv6 support, I'm asking for as many testers as possible to apply the patch mentioned in the IPv6 feature request report: http://bugs.proftpd.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1711 and report on its success/failure/problems. Without sufficient testing, the IPv6 may be distributed, as a patch, along with the normal source distribution, rather than being incorporated directly and working "out of the box".
