Yes I started proftpd already with debugging options but there is 
nothing useful
(no errors or warnings).

Since I allowed resuming of transfers the tls data transfer is working 
... somehow
- it stucks every 500kb or so and than resumes.

I belive it is a proftpd&Filezilla issue as I dont have the problems 
with another
tested client but Filezilla is heavily used here

ok - i assume that most of our users do not know there is an ftp-tls option
and rely on the fully working normal ftp :)
