So I am debugging a problem with my mod_sql_tds and DefaultRoot, that appears to have been introduced in 1.3.2rc3. I haven't dug into the the upstream parts of mod_sql yet. Just wondering if anybody had some pointers of where to concentrate. My initial guess is the following: The sybase/TDS libs are a bit different than mysql/postgres in that they generally need to get information from their interface/config file in order to connect to the server. I am in the process of adding more debug information to mod_sql_tds.c to verify this. But I think once the chroot happens, it can no longer find the /etc/freetds.conf file and therefore fails the login, thus shutting down the server. Off to play with diff to find out what exactly changed between 1.3.2rc2 and 1.3.2rc3. -Patrick -- Patrick Muldoon Network/Software Engineer INOC (http://www.inoc.net) PGPKEY (http://www.inoc.net/~doon) Key ID: 0x370D752C OK now log into the customer and type "no ip retard" |
