it may still die. what you need here is not the tcpserver but the supervise
or similar program.

Sorry that is what I meant to say :-) and that is what I am using now

there are more types of logs - transfer log, TLS log etc etc.

Hmm.. good point. Let me explore on that. Feel free to give me some tips that you may think would be helpful.
