#4 corrupted play time listed in windows explorer after save

I have a collection of 30 MP3's in each of 3 bitrates, 16kbps, 64kbps, and 128kbps, all encoded with lame 32 bits 3.98.2 using MediaCoder in Lame MP3 mode in stereo.
2 of the 16kbps files, the smallest of the bunch (around 300-600KB each), were modified by Professional Tag Editor using General v1 and v2 and ended up with a false length showing up in windows explorer. when playing in VLC media player, the correct length is shown. but when you hover the mouse over the file in Windows Explorer and the file details are shown in a big tooltip, the length shows up as 0:50 instead of 3:21 or 2:16 instead of 7:58.
