There is no 2.3, only 1.00, 2.00 and 2.01. I've now released ROM images to allow a 1.00 to be upgraded: http://zine.r-massive.com/e-mu-audity-2000-os-upgrade-for-v1-00-units/

Windows 11 running in VMWare Fusion on M1 MacMini works now. Prodatum version 2.1.2

  • Hartmut Hillmann Hartmut Hillmann posted a comment on ticket #36

I'm running Prodatum just at this moment on my M1 MacBook and already saved all user presets. What I did: Downloaded the prodatum-macos-x64 executable from haxorhax/prodatum github page: https://github.com/.../download/v2.1.2/prodatum-macos-x64 The page says: MacOS Update 12/30/22: I was able to verify the github agent build works on Big Sur 11.x and Monterey 12.x OS - with a couple tweaks: The prodatum-macos-x64 executable needs the .app extension added Moved the executable to the Applications folder...

Emu Company History Timeline on Wayback Machine The Prodatum "Not everything is by coincidence" page (https://prodatum.sourceforge.net/) has a stale link to the Emu company history timeline. It seems now (November, 2023) that Emu only sells headphones. Here is that company history timeline on the Internet Archive Wayback Machine: https://web.archive.org/web/20190411110322/http://www.creative.com/emu/company/history/timeline/ Since the Internet Archive might also be sued into oblivion, I've attached...

hey, Prodatum doesn't seem to work on Monterey anymore, I've used it for years and would love to be able to continue doing so, if there's any chance you could upload this version I would be forever grateful, thank you

yes, basic functions work with XL-7

  • Anonymous posted a comment on ticket #36

Very cool. Maybe you want to update the git repo with the updated makefile and also add the generated fltk ui files (I was stupid to never include the generated files in the repository)? I would also like to upload the binaries! I dont own a current mac and so I cant create binaries for current os'es.

Could you post it to a server that allows access. I'm interested in trying it out for you! (Maybe after 2 years your anger has subsided!? :)

  • Anonymous posted a comment on ticket #35

It's not a 64 bit app so it will not work in Catalina. Seeing as questions are not being aswered here any longer I'm assuming the app is no longer under development (last update in 2015). It's too bad as I really enjoyed the app, Mojave is the last Mac OS it worked under for me. I kept a machine around just to use this software but finally had to update the OS. Maybe the developer will update Prodatum and make it 64bit compatible... I'm willing to donate to the cause if that hapens! :)

Happened to me. I don’t know what is causing this. I remember that a factory reset helped. Of course a factory reset might not be an option for your but it’s worth a try. Audity only goes as far as 2.01. You need the factory(or possibly a servicer) to upgrade from 1.0 to 2.0 b/c the 1.0 OS doesn't allow for uploadable firmware upgardes via MIDI. Check with EPR Electronics. They might be able to assist. https://www.eprelectronics.com/

I have a XL-Turbo and it works fine (proteus variants running all the same OS - you should check your OS Version). Please check your device ID too (must be same in prodatum) and your midi connections. If you had no luck, you could also try another midi interface.

Hello, i'm trying to get this to work with my E-mu Vintage Keys. The unit receive the message from Prodatum, but doesn't respond anything. I see the sysex message send by Prodatum start with F0 7E and the unit Id. From what I read in the manual the number for E-mu is 18 and vintage keys respond to 0A or 04 (Proteus ID) So if I send a message starting with F0 18 04... I get the unit to respond but it doesn't work with Prodatum. Is it simply that the software doesn't work with Vintage Keys rack? T...
