    Hi,
I have a doubt... there is a checkbox option in the personal Process Dashboard in C > Tools > Working offline.
If I do check that option, what would be the effect? I have tried looking up in the available Help & online manual but the only references I have found to "offline" are related to using the WBS offline and to preventing the use of offline tools such as Dropbox.
Would you kindly explain the effect of using the "Working offline" options?
Thank you very much in advance.
    Best regards,
    Haydee

The "Work Offline" checkbox only appears when you are opening a dataset from the Process Dashboard Enterprise Server. If you are curious about its purpose, just try clicking on it. When you click it, you will be shown the following detailed explanation:

Normally, your computer must have a network connection to the Process Dashboard Enterprise Server in order to open this Process Dashboard dataset. If you work on a laptop that is often disconnected from the network, you can enable the "Work Offline" option for this dataset, and you will be able to open it even when no network connection is available.

Enabling the "Work Offline" option will "check out" the data, marking it for use on this computer only. You will not be able to edit this dataset from any other computer until you uncheck the "Work Offline" option.

While a dataset is "offline," other individuals will only be able to open it in "read-only" mode. So use good judgment and coordinate with others before you mark a Team Dashboard dataset for offline use, and uncheck the "Work Offline" option as soon as you are done.

Note that you will still need a connection to the server to perform operations like "Edit Work Breakdown Structure", "Export My Data Now," and "Sync to WBS."

Click OK to mark this dataset for offline use.

I see. Thank you very much for your answer.
I really should have tried the option before asking, but I was a little nervous about the effects.
    Best Regards,
