When you open a team or personal dashboard that is stored in the Process Dashboard Enterprise Server, the client records a lock with the server to ensure that the data is not modified on two different computers at once. If a second person attempts to open the same dataset, they will see a message, "This dataset is currently in use by Person Name. Would you like to open read-only?"
Unfortunately, this locking mechanism can fail if the given Person Name contains non-ASCII characters. In that scenario, the first individual will open the dashboard normally, only to receive a popup notification a minute or so later advising that their lock has been lost, and that changes can no longer be saved.
