#313 Exit abnormally on Mac OS X El capitan v10.11.6

The software process dashboard can be installed correctly on Mac OS X El capitan (ver. 10.11.6). However, when you try to launch either the Team Dashboard or the Process Dashboard, it terminates abnormally.

The error message that appears (taken from Mac Concole app) is:

(com.apple.xpc.launchd.oneshot.0x1000000a.universalJavaApplicationStub[1360]) Service exited with abnormal code: 1

Can you tell me what version of the Java Runtime Environment you've installed on this computer?

Is the problem resolved if you upgrade to the latest version of the Java Runtime Environment from Oracle? (This can be downloaded from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html )

I use JRE v8 update 101 already, which as I think is the latest one. Furthemore, I previouslly installed java 6 SE for MAC OS

I have downloaded and installed this latest version too from the link that you provided above:
jdk-8u102-macosx-x64

However, even after resterting the device, the problem still exist.

Thank you for reporting this. I may have a fix available for you. Could you take these steps:

1. Download the installer for the beta release from http://processdash.com/download#beta
2. Run the installer to install this new version
3. Try opening the Process Dashboard application again

Does this resolve the problem?

Unfortunately, the problem still exists even after installing the beta version.
