Dear users! A new version (1.4) of ProbeMaker is now available for download from sourceforge.net This version contains a number of fixes and enhancements, including: * New project save file format The new xml-based project save file (*.prx) format will hopefully add flexibility for future changes and also be easier to understand and edit for advanced users. It should now be possible to save and reload projects with imported probes. Files in the old format can still be imported via the file menu. Please submit a support request if there are problems with this. * DINAMelt analysis module Due to a server-side change. The Mfold secstruct module has stopped working correctly some time ago. This module is now removed, and replaced by the DINAMelt module. This module sends a query to the DINAMelt web server (see ref. in plugin description). It is now also possible to set service parameters. * Default plugin-choice for command-line use The config/probemaker.properties file can be used to set the default choice of plugins (acceptor/selector/tag allocator/TSS Constructor) to use when executing ProbeMaker from the command-line. * Removing probes By right-clicking a probe in the probe-table, it is now possible to remove probes from the project, with the option of removing targets as well. --- Johan Stenberg Department of Genetics and Pathology Uppsala University |
