Could we please flesh out this protein family given its importance for Alzheimer disease? Tim Clark as noticed that there is only a family-level term.

Hi Tim,

PRO has classes at different levels of specificity. You are looking at
ortholog level, and the entry is indicating the sequences upon which
the entry has been constructed. By comparison here is APP at the same
level of generality

Here you will see the species specific terms as well as a number of
terms, both species specific and nonspecific, for various fragments.

I see that BACE1 has not yet been similarly fleshed out, presumably
for no other reason that it is further down the queue than some others
that need curation. I will send a note to team asking that it be
curated, given your interest.
