Weekly meeting with Dr. Fujinoki has been finalized to be at 2:00 pm tomorrow (11/9/12).

The following needs to be addressed:

1. Progress made so far in the project (Server installations). We should discuss the issue we are having with the cloud server hard disk partition.

2. Updated project plan needs to be submitted.

3. Questions on database design.

4. Questions on UI implementation. We will be presenting our thoughts on what we will have prepared by the end of this semester.

If anyone else has any other questions/concerns, please feel free to add on to this thread.

There will be a meeting with Dr. Fujinoki tomorrow. I will be texting everyone with a time once he emails me back. The meeting will be held to discuss the project's current status. We will be presenting what we feel we can deliver this semester and also discussing the issues that we have been running into.

The following email was sent by the client. It consists information regarding the presentation we will have with USTRANSCOM. I am posting it here for everyone's reference.

Megha:

I had a chance to see the Chief Technology Officer from USTRANSCOM last
week and scheduled two presentations at Scott A.F.B. (or if we can not
successfully obtain security clearance, it will be a laboratory/conference
facility owned by MITRE (who is one of the industry contractors of
USTRANSCOM)). The approximate dates and the purposes of the two meetings are:

(1) Late January in 2013: the preliminary presentation/demonstration

 The primary purposes of this meeting shall be a proposal of our work,

which show the following detail to USTRANSCOM representatives to seek their
feedback:

  (a) The software architecture(s) of the systems (split clouds, shadow

auditor and dynamic lineage summary).
(b) The purposes/advantages of the proposed software system(s) - the
problems that the proposed system(s) address shall be described.
(c) At least low-fidelity UI mockup shall be presented.
(d) The expected load map of the project shall be described.

(2) Late April in 2013: the main presentation/demonstration of the proposed
system(s)

 The primary goals of this meeting shall be:

  (a) Demonstrate a working prototype of the proposed system after we

incorporate the suggestions from the preliminary meeting in late January.
(b) Show the initial performance evaluation data
(c) Seek further feedback to the proposed systems.

Before the end of this semester, I need your permission for me to forward
your information to USTRANSCOM officers (your full name, your nationality,
your student status at SIUE, and possibly your SIUE e-mail address).

Meeting with Dr. Fujinoki has been scheduled to be at 3:00 PM this Wednesday(12/5/12). The meeting will be held to discuss the updated exit strategy. We will also be presenting our outline for the final presentation.
We will meet outside his office and then proceed to the senior project lab for discussion.
