Primary Cryption Now Available

This is a new SourceForge project, located at https://sourceforge.net/projects/primarycryption/

Its purpose is very-high-level encryption, starting roughly at the 64,000-bit level, and going up from there. However, the algorithm (and its implementation) does still need to pass scrutiny by Experts In The Field.

Before being added to SourceForge, enough work was done that an immediate release of working and useful code could be made (for Windows). You can encrypt and decrypt files of any type, and while the encryption key must be shared between users, this only needs to be done once in the close-contact manner (just Person A quietly telling Person B what the first key will be). More, the key can be described in a fairly simple enciphered way, such that an eavesdropper might not realize that an encryption key is being specified (you're not expecting eavesdroppers, are you?). Then, as the program is used to encrypt multiple files at the same time, just make sure that one of them is a simple text file that specifies what encryption key will be used for the NEXT session...because then its encryption will have to be broken before anyone other than the intended recipient(s) can learn that.... read more

Project Primary Cryption

Folk, I'm attempting to start up a high-level encryption project featuring a new algorthm. At this writing I'm still trying to get my local software (WinCVS & PuTTY) configured so I can access the project space and actually PUT the project in there. Please be patient while I try to work my way though the issues. Thank you.
