The general way the new owners have been fucking up Sourceforge leaves me no choice but leaving here.
I thought I'd seen all the lows of human existence, but once again I had to learn that there's still worse to find...
Release 0.9.1 should work so far.
The event caldendar module can be set up and run quite easily - see the README file for more.
There are several other functions in the source which can be used to create even complex sites and feeds - they are documented in the source code but will need a little more tweaking to fit your needs. They were designed for individual sites and some parameters are still "hardcoded". They are not difficult to find and to write puts/gets for them would be primarily routine work I just couldn't find time to do until now.
I 've added a standalone module providing a MySQL driven event calendar to announce upcoming events and automatically create an RSS feed from them.
