Hi, Just finished testing Prevayler and p8 code with the Scalability test. Some results: Peak performance with prevayler, disc sync = true, 5968 transactions/second @ 1469 threads Peak performance with prevayler, disc sync = false, 55195 transactions/second @ 3 threads Peak performance with p8: 31610 transactions/second @ 1 thread Unfortunately I couldn't get P8 (or PrevaylerEight) to run at more than 1 thread in the scalability test, anything more than 1 thread and I get an Exception. [0] And because I felt like it, here are some results with PostgreSQL: [1] Peak performance with postgresql, file sync = true, 2866 transactions/second @ 140 threads Peak performance with postgresql, file sync = false, 6184 transactions/second @ 12 threads Best, Marcel [0] It seems every time I run P8 with more than 1 thread I get one of these exceptions: java.io.NotActiveException: not in readObject invocation or fields already read java.io.StreamCorruptedException: invalid type code: 00 java.lang.Error: java.lang.NullPointerException at org.prevayler.contrib.p8.Journal.copy(Journal.java:132) [1] http://imgur.com/vQ0ZzYO On Wed, Oct 22, 2014 at 9:46 AM, Christian Stein <sor...@gm...> wrote: > > On Tue, Oct 21, 2014 at 11:01 PM, Flavio W.
