Prevailing Wage

Use Standard Occupation Codes and Department of Labor data, will determine the prevailing wage for a specific geographical location.

How to Use:

You cannot enter the SOC code directly, but must perform a lookup by job title or keyword and select the appropriate job title, which will populate the SOC code in the correct field. You will then specify the required number of months of experience as well as degree requirements. Other fields are optional. Then press calculate, and your prevailing wage will be shown as per hour and computed annual compensation.

Originally, Prevailing Wage was to be released FREE on Microsoft, but failed certification because the certifiers didn't read instructions on how to use the application. Microsoft certification team wanted direct input to the SOC codes. A future version may be released to offer this feature and at which time a Microsoft UWP version will be released on the Windows Store.
