Work History

	2 Weeks Contract work as technicall support
	conultant for Siemens in November 1998

	Worked as Software Support Technician for
	Africon Engineering from February 1999 to
	August 2000. During this time I gained 			intensive knowledge of Microsoft's Operating
	System products, both client and server side. 
	I also aquired other valuable skills such as
	customer relations.
	This was mostly Face to Face support with some
	telephone Support. 
	During the same time I also did some contract
	work as a telephone technicall support 			consultant for Atlantic Internet Services. 
	This was a three-week contract.
	While at Africon I was also involved in the 		following:
	Co-developement of the Africon Corporate 
		Website
	Developement of a DataBase application for use
	by Telkom.

	
	Between the period of September 2000 to 		December  2000 I was employed at SevenC 		computing as a Java Developer. Although my
	appointment there was not a permanent one.
	I think it says a lot of my abillities
	that even as my contract ended my employer,
	Mr. Kotchy took the initiative to contact you
	on my behalf and reccomend me to you.

Volunteer Work and Memberships:
	I am the Chairman of the Pretoria Linux
	Users Group. (www.plug.za.org)
	Founder of OSSAC (The Open Source South-Africa
	Community) - This project is still being 		developed.
	I wrote CD-Tux, an open-source program for
	writing CD's under Linux - recently rated
	5 out 5 by the users of Linuxapps.com
	I am also a full member of the Free Software 		Foundation

Future Aspirations:
	I would like to finish my degree and continue
	to work towards a career as a full time 
	programmer. However my deapseated love for 		computing means that I can be happy in any one
	of many computer positions as my wide range 
	prior experiences show>	I do however feel that 		it is time for me to
	settle down into a career rather than another
	short-term employment. I would like the 		security of a company where I can work for
	severall years to come.
