Verdana.ttf is a Microsoft true-type font that is not in the public domain. Did Microsoft give explicit approval for this font to be redistributed with Prefuse? If not, that is a big legal no-no. You'll need to replace the verdana.ttf with another font in the public domain (e.g., Bitstream has some public domain fonts).
