Hi Gary,
I did look at it. Their service requires a "free" API key, and the only reason to do that is to make it easier to charge money for the service later. They can do bandwidth throttling and more limited services without the API key. If you ignore that, the other problem is that it is unlikely they will provide a decent selection of preferred stock price data for free, because preferred stock price data is a bit more obscure than the typical blue chips that are often used as example price data. Normally preferred stock data is provided as part of a much larger offering of stock data. finance.yahoo.com and finance.google.com use the same source, "Interactive Data Real-Time Services", though I believe they both had been using a different company in the past, and I haven't found similar data available for free.
