Greetings!
I have downloaded v2.1 from sourceforge, followed the instructions in the Linux install guide, except I put the entire contents of the precurio directory into my intended document root for the site. Unfortunately, I have run into a problem. I get a 404 error when trying to access https://<hostaddress>/public/install. Have all the required modules enabled, I have the correct settings in apache config for this site (directory line edited for privacy:
<Directory "{basepath}="" intranetWAIMain"="">
AllowOverride All
Allow from all Order allow,deny
</Directory>
In searching the web and forum for solutions to this problem, I found someone who had it, and was able to access /public/index.php/install/install/general, and I am able to access there, too, but it looks terrible (and is obviously missing quite a bit). I tried the suggested changes to the .htaccess files, but that hasn't helped.
I have no errors in my apache logs, PHP log, or the system log.
System is as follows:
Mac OS X 10.11.6
apache 2.4.18
PHP 5.5.36
mysql 5.7.13
Best,
Mike
Actually, after so many hours, I figured it out, and I'm in the configuration pages properly. Fingers crossed! This may be closed.
Hi Michael,
I am glad you are able to complete the setup.
Please note that Precurio v2 is no longer supported commercially; you may download the latest version from our website. http://www.precurio.com

Mayor--
Unfortunately, this is potentially for a small, 5-person auto repair facility and while some parts would be good, the pro version is out of the budget for that number of people.
I'm going to see how things work out with 2.1, see if it's too much or if it's even viable, and go from there. Thanks for the information!
Best,
Mike
Well, the Active Directory authentication works after manually modifying the .ini file since the installer didn't save the values; however, there are other exceptions thrown in the logs and I'm afraid I'll be chasing my tail for days with this. So, Precurio is out.
Sincerely,
Mike
