As noted in the documentation, at present arm-palmos-gcc only supports the building of stand-alone code, such as armlets. Hence you should be using it with -nostartfiles. The ARM side does not provide startup files like crt0.o because (on OS <= 5.x) you have no use for them. Your question indicates that you need to read more about what you actually need an ARM compiler for on Palm OS <= version 5.x. This topic concerns use of the tools and details of Palm OS programming, so is off-topic on prc-tools-devel. John |
