[Prboom-users] wont play the midi music

I downloaded v2.2.1 for mandrake shortly after it came out the game =
worked fine it had all the sound working except the music midis which it =
dumped in /tmp/ i passed it off as abug but last night i dl v2.2.2 and =
it did the same thing all extra files are installed i can click on a =
midi, wav, mp3,m3u and audio cds and they play fine
  so how do i get it to play the midi music
