Hello, I was wondering how strict you were on edits to the source code.
What I want to do is make a specialty port for doom for a project in my programming class, which would mean making it available for internet download (don't worry, I would link you and give you credit for what I used).  I want to use glBoom because it looks good and renders well without alot of extra system requirements.

I think I could just do it without asking, but I wanted to get permission anyway...

    thank you - cchristian

It's GPLed, so you are free to do with it what you want as long as it complies. In your case that would mean that you have to make all source code available which is necessary to reproduce your binaries. Read the GPL and research it a bit if necessary, there are very good explanations with examples out there.

      Regards,

okie dokie!  thanks, just making sure no one would mind, and that I wasn't mistaken about the GPL.
