I'm trying to run prboom 2.2.6 on NetBSD 3.0, and the '-2' option mentioned in the manual page doesn't seem to do anything (and having a quick look at the source, it doesn't seem to be supported there either). This would be quite useful to me, because I'm using an old Pentium 300 laptop with an 800x600 screen, but 800x600 is jerky (even if I decrease the 'screen size' in Doom, oddly enough - somewhat surprising, since I seem to remember successfully running 640x480 linux doom on a Pentium 60 many years ago).
400x300 runs fine, but of course only takes up 1/4 of the screen. So, any easy way to make -2 work? Other solutions?
