Old version are in the git repo. For 3.4, you can use the 1.3.4 version. There isn't any docs for installation with the exception of the file pramfs.txt copied under documentation folder of your kernel by the patch-ker.sh script. You can find there some usage tips. Oggetto: RE: [Pramfs-devel] simple question Hi Marco, Thanks for your quick reply, a little background: I have been using pramfs-1.3.1-3.2 on kernel 3.0 Our systems got updated to kernel 3.4.12, when I tried to build the version of pramfs I was using I got several compile errors that appeared to be related to the new kernel. I then downloaded pramfs-1.4.2-3.10, unfortunately when I ran the patch script the script failed because the uapi directory was not present in my kernel source, I am using 3.4 uapi did not get added until 3.7. (attached is the console log) unfortunately, we are releasing software for kernel 3.4 and we cannot update our kernel for this release. If there is an archived version of pramfs that was tested with 3.4 could you point me to it? Also, is there any basic installation documentation I could refer too? Subject: R: [Pramfs-devel] simple question You have to patch your kernel using the script you can find in the repo and recompile. There isn't any distribution package. You have to choose the version for your kernel. When you have built your module, you can load it at startup.
