[pptp-devel] "Peer is not responding" Probs

hi all,
i have a small problem with the pptp client.
After the successful creation of a connection with the
pptp-server ('Tunnel xyz is active on ppp1') i get this
output:

i looks like, that the pptp-server doesn't respond.
can somebody help ??

ps: i'm using Suse 7.3 with a 2.4.16 kernel. insmod of
ppp_mppe work fine.
