Here are some suggestions that might facilitate using pppBlog even more.
- Clickable categories in entries, maybe even a clickable path ('categorie' > 'title');
- Displaying only the specific entry when following the link to that entry;
- Ability to choose the date upon adding an entry, instead of having to move it afterwards;
- The option to make the body (div) overflowing;
- Easily managing entries and pages (with an easy overview to edit, move and delete items) - right now it's hard to find unlinked static pages without using the filemanager;
- Editing of layout without making changes to core files;
- The 'home page' customizable; fe. displaying some static text and the latest entry;
- A function to e-mail the site or an entry to someone + signing up for notifications upon new entries made;
- A better captcha, there are still too many errors;
- Maybe a links-section, with categories;
- A simple guestbook;
Don't get me wrong, I prefer pppBlog above ALL other blogging tools, including database-driven ones. These extra functions would just make it more complete...

thanks for your suggestions. I will see what I can do ....
about entries at certain dates: there is a function for doing this. it's a bit hidden ...
if you have a calendar block in the menu somewhere all dates become clickable and you will open an 'event editor' for this day. there you can create an entry for that date without having to move anything. you can also specify if this 'event' should be repeated every year or month. great, isn't it :-)
about captchas: what problems are there? do you refer to the 'whoops' messages wher the captcha is not accepted? I still don't really know why this is happening from time to time ... have to read more about coockies I guess.
if somebody can help - please!
