[Pport1-general] (no subject)

i got my linux machine connected to the network with the passport, but i 
can't seem to configure my proxies correctly.  my avirt server is running on 
my windows machine, and i can telnet from my linux machine to the internet.  
but, i can't use the proxy to access the port 80 stuff.  what should i do?
