Version 1.1.0 is finally released! Who says having a five month old daughter takes up all your time!
Several new features. Onboard cameras, numerous tweaks, embedded PPE commands in POVRAY files (which is really powerful) multiple vehicles and even a FREE DRAG RACING STRIP. OK, the scenery is not too hot but the program will race cars down the track, automatically accelerating and decelerating them. I feel a competition coming on!!!

PPE 1.1.0 is in the final stages of testing and cleaning up. Its taken ages because I now have a baby daughter and its taking ages to get her coding up to standard!
1.1 will incorporate the latest mechanism for embedding the PPE commands in POVRay files such that it does not interfere with POVRay but allows far greater control over the model. There will be a few much better example objects to follow as well. ... read more
I have devised a much easier way of building up complex objects. It involves embedding PPE readable comments in POVRay files. It should allow for some far prettier animations for much less effort. An RFC has been published and any feedback is welcome
1.0.2 is finally released. As well as a wishlist as long as my arm I have a couple of things I'd like to ask for help on.
Firstly, one of my intentions was to be able to create a helicoper. It was this that forced me to abandon the horrible amorphous script I had and build a proper modular program but I have never got around to adding the PPERotorBlade object. I _think_ I know enough to build one but as to whether or not it would be accurate is another matter. I will release a very basic sample PPERotorBlade object soon but if you fancy a play then let me know and I'll be happy to rush it through/email it to you in advance.... read more
Version 1.0.2 has a bug fix for iffy wheel placement. The new all singing all dancing physics engine looks like more work than I envisaged so instead I will get it to a basic working standard and then ask for help!!
Progress has been very slow recently due to work commitments and the discovery that I'm going to be a Dad. All that panicking takes up a lot of time!!!!
