I downloaded the 2.4.18 kernel and applied the
ppc-2.4.18 patch. When I try to compile the kernel I
get the following error. It appears to be complaining
about some of the macros. Ideas?

ppc_405-gcc -D__KERNEL__
-I/home/curtisa/dev/2.4.18/linux-2.4.18/include -Wall
-Wstrict-prototypes -Wno-trigraphs -O2
-fomit-frame-pointer -fno-strict-aliasing -fno-common
-D__powerpc__ -fsigned-char -msoft-float -pipe
-ffixed-r2 -Wno-uninitialized -mmultiple -mstring
-mcpu=403 -DKBUILD_BASENAME=ppc4xx_pic -c -o
ppc4xx_pic.o ppc4xx_pic.c
